The Wendys Fast Food franchise is now all set for Malaysia. The Wendys fast food franchise was founded in 1969 and already has over 150 franchise restaurants located in the Asia Pacific region.

The Berjaya Corporation has acquired the franchise development licence to develop Wendys restaurant franchise in Malaysia. Wendys HQ is located in Ohio and is one of the most successful restaurants and franchising companies in the quick service restaurant industry with 6,600 Wendys units across international markets.

The company plans to open over 70 Wendys franchises over the next 10 years. Berjaya Corporation already operates Starbucks Coffee and Kenny Rogers Roasters restaurants in Malaysia.
